Movie Theater

I worked the floor in a movie theater for several years. Most customers made me want to choke them (seriously, be nice to your theater staff). There were a few that made up for all the rest, though. One night, I was selling tickets. It was fairly slow, and I had no other customers in the lobby. Two small children (around eight) walk up to my window. One is wearing a fedora and a curly black wig, dressed rather sharply, and the other is dressed in black with black sunglasses. The one in the sunglasses listens to the first one whisper in her ear, and orders the tickets. She says, in a gruff voice, “Mr. Jackson would like a ticket to [movie], and I would like one also.” I play along. “What a surprise to see you here, Mr. Jackson! I love your music!” In a perfect imitation of Michael Jackson, she responds in a high-pitched voice “Thank you very much.” Her “body guard” and “Mr. Jackson” walk into the lobby after I hand them their tickets, the first girl moonwalking, and stops at the ticket booth. With a flourish, she reaches in her jacket and pulls out a signed picture of Micheal Jackson printed off the computer and hands it to me. I beamed and thanked her, still playing along, as she moonwalked to her theater. Best customers ever!
